Scalp microneedling

A device creates controlled microchannels in the scalp. The depth, areas and products used are defined according to the medical assessment.

Loss of density may have different causes. Before indicating microneedling, the team reviews your history, progression and current treatments.

It may be part of a broader plan. Combination with topical products or other procedures must be indicated and supervised by the medical team.

Research has examined microneedling combined with minoxidil in androgenetic alopecia. The available evidence is limited and protocols vary. These studies do not establish results from microneedling alone, for every type of hair loss, or for this clinic's protocol. They are not a promise of hair regrowth. An active scalp infection or inflammatory condition needs assessment before a procedure is chosen. Discuss pregnancy or breastfeeding, bleeding conditions, blood-thinning medicines, healing problems and current treatments; postponement or a different approach may be appropriate.
